Answer:

The museum is open Tuesdays to Sundays from 10 am to 6 pm. On the 2nd Friday of the month, the museum is open from 10 am to midnight and admission is free from 6 pm. The museum is open on public holidays. The museum is closed on 24 December, 25 December and 31 December.

Admission to the museum's collection costs 9 euros for adults, reduced admission is 4.50 euros. Different prices apply for special exhibitions.
Those entitled to a discount are recipients of current benefits in accordance with the German Social Security Codes II and XII, students up to the age of 30 (on presentation of a valid student ID), trainees, volunteers, people with a degree of disability of 50% or more (if necessary, the accompanying person is free on presentation of proof). Persons up to and including the age of 17 have free admission.

In the online shop you can pay with giropay, Amazon Pay, SEPA bank transfer, Mastercard, Visa Card, prepayment by bank transfer and iDEAL.

Tickets can be purchased at the ticket office in the museum or online via the ticket shop on the website. It is not possible to reserve tickets.
Purchased tickets can be cancelled at the ticket office on the same day before entering the exhibition rooms. For online tickets, you can contact the visitors' office directly.

As the museum has a large number of exhibition rooms, it is recommended to plan 90 minutes for a visit.

There is something for everyone at the museum. On the first Thursday of every month, it is possible to explore the museum with a pushchair during our tour called Elternzeit. At weekends, the art education centre offers creative workshops for children aged between 2 and 14. Various topics are offered together with museum educators.

From Münster main station, you can take bus lines 1, 2, 4, 9, 10, 11, 12, 14 and 22 and get off at the Domplatz stop. From the Aegidiimarkt/LWL-Museum stop, return to the main railway station.

The museum offers bicycle racks and a charging station for e-bikes in the old building. The car park under the Aegidiimarkt is 100 metres from the museum entrance.
For bus groups, there is a drop-off point at Aegidiimarkt and the bus car park is on Schlossplatz.
